Some Things You Just Cannot Stop

There some things you just cannot put a stop to...and our worship time at Ocean Aire is one of those. When we started the Sunday morning worship time we felt that we should meet through the summer until school started after Labor Day. After Labor the campground slows down as the summer campers return to their routine at their homes. But, there are many who still come down on the weekends and those who live here year-round. We began to hear a different instruction from the Lord.

It is felt that we cannot JUST stop the worship services. Some of our people have made it clear that this time is important in their life. I have heard some say how they looked forward to the time on Sunday and just spending those few moments in worship. It is now generally agreed that the services will continue for a while so we discern exactly what the Lord would have us to do.

The campground owners have already discussed how we can make provision for the cold weather; how the campground store and office could be used as a meeting place. I believe that the Lord has truly blessed all who have had part in these services and that we do whatever is necessary to continue the services.

There is a saying: From tiny acorns mighty oaks grow. From a thought and a prayer has come this time of worship...I feel that we have not even imagined what God has in store for a group of believers meeting at a campground. Ocean Aire chapel is not just a name it is a dream of my heart and the hearts of others. I can hardly wait to see all the good that comes as a result of us meeting together.
